Depends on the movie.
Edit: The local movie theater has 4DX, but I haven't tried it yet.

2D everytime.
I can't be bothered to get the glasses out and watch 3d.
2D can't do with 3D
2D, I prefer not to have a headache 20 minuets into my movie.
3D movies every time. 3D gaming needs a reboot. Immersion without the nausea of VR. A UHD monitor with a glasses free 3d 1920x2160 gaming resolution would be good.
3D if I can be assured that they've filmed it properly in the first place.
If they haven't, then at best I'll be picking holes in it....
I cannot wait for the day I have stupid amounts of cash and can buy my own VR headset - Hopefully there'll be a bunch of movies I can use it with!
It all depends on the movie, and on what format.
3D blu-rays are great on a good 4K display as you get a full 1920x1080 picture to each eye.
2D always.
3D if it has been done right the first time. Some 3d films are awful where some are mind blowing.
Jon
I would say the same as I have seen some films in 3D like Avatar , Judge Dredd etc etc that were done with 3D in mind when they were produced.
The type of films that it is just a bolt-on effect I generally tend to view the 2D versions which my wife prefers as she gets headaches from wearing the 3D specs.
2D. 3D is more of a gimmick that simply distracts from a story.
Well, I never go to the cinema and when you watch as many films as I do, at least three or four a year, there is no point investing in 3D capable hardware.
2D... 3D is not there yet...
