I'm responsible for 3 of them
(launch model, replaced with a Pro when HDMI broke and a slim for the kids)
I was really positively surprised by my PS4 Pro and PSVR. The HMD is easy to set up and use, not too uncomfortable to wear and the controls work really well in the games I played. The pixel to pixel distance is an issue, but that is easy to fix with coming technology. I think the future of VR is sitting or standing (or maybe lying down in the future ;D ). Roomscale is unsuited for the mass-market. Will definitely be buying a PS5 and PSVR2, if ever available.
2 million PSVR sales doesn't give developers much of a market to shoot for. If you release for PS4 having paid for a licence, gone through their testing and acceptance protocols AND localise to all markets then if you sell it to absolutely everyone who owns it you still only shift 2 million copies. Fine for an add-on to a 2D game but I can't see anyone making a VR only or VR first game with any kind of budget with a market that small.
