Seems like a good buy for a casual gamer that has the hardware to power 1440p, great price for what it is too, quite tempted myself in all honesty!

Got my nephew one at Christmas. Now admittedly he's not the most critical user in the world, and is enamoured of the screen size, but he loves it.

Damn, that's a fair chunk of value for money.

Quite tempting too, but I don't need it - middle of last year I would've grabbed one PDQ.

Lower pixel density than a 22'' 1080 screen - why bother?

Does anyone really want a 32'' 16:9 monitor?

Same pixel density as a 24" 1080p tho. If you want to complement a 22" 1080p screen, get a 29" 1440p monitor instead.

    Re: Aoc q3279vwf

I bought one of these just before Christmas. It's not spectacular in any way but for £200 it was a great upgrade over my old 1080p monitor and I've been very happy with it.

I bought one on release and am very happy with it for the money, its not as good a my dual 24" UHD IPS monitors at home but when working at my studio this is great (replaced a 24" 1080p monitor)

    Re: Aoc q3279vwf

I've got the viewsonic vx3211-2k-mhd, which is a similar screen. IPS rather than VA, no freesync, 4" VESA mount compatible, and integrated speakers (which probably add at least 50p to the BOM). Stand is still naff, and it's a bit more expensive (I paid £240), but the wall of monitor I have with it next to my old 24" is very pleasing

No VESA, no thanks. cant imagine everyone having tons of desk space for that stand.

Ordered one for H.R. and it's a pretty nice screen.

    The stand is tiny.
