It's nice that they're going through all this again. I'm still gasping like a dry alcoholic for BF2143 though

It amazes me how juicy the BF and WWII fruit are, every time I think the franchise and the theme are being over squeezed, sales figures prove otherwise.
BF V must mean its close to a degenerate state by now, surely.
This is the one they really need to think about doing, 2142 was a great game and got out of the stale WW environment settings they kept releasing. Which is where they're back to, they're regressing and not moving forward. I can live with BF:BC3, but I'd rather see a 2143 released.
Plenty of room in the wars of Korea, Vietnam, Yugoslavia, Iraq etc.
It's all about a quality game.
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
Can't wait for the crappy 60 tick servers, too!
It is EA, it is not worth the coin, enough said really the franchise has been degrading alot.
So they're jumping back to the old naming scheme and kinda pretending BF One didn't exist?
BFOne was actually an OK game in fairness, the loot crate system was just weapon cosmetics that had no impact on game play, and you bought the upgrades you wanted with credits gained by progression.
As Biscuit said, BF1 is clearly not a pay-to-win game.

Or possibly Atari.

I wish they would return to modern day or 2142 times. I don't appreciate this WWII stuff. I mean, though, above it says that it's a BF2 update so that's modern day. *confused*
I have BF4 and need to play it more. No interest in BFOne.

Be Careful on the Internet! I ran and tackled a drive by mining attack today. It's not designed to do anything than provide fake texts (say!)
I have really enjoyed BF1 in all honesty, but the novelty of going back to the early and mid 1900's in fps games has worn quicker than it did last time. If this turns out to be essentially the same game as BF1 with a re-skin then I doubt I will bother with it, especially given that we already know you will need the season pass to get more than a quarter of the full game.
[QUOTE=CustardInc;3932477]Vietnam - remember the Vietnam DLC for BF:BC2 that was essentially a whole new game built on the same engine and basic UI? The DLC glory days.[/QUOT
I certainly do. BC2 was one of my all-time favourites.
