    Powering the pump from the USB connection seems to obvious for it not to have been done already - you'll only need one cable to the pump for RGB, diagnostics and power, and it's a nice constant 5 V that won't try and ramp up or down. You'll probably need a <5 W pump, of course, but I'd be surprised if an AIO pump took that much current. You could also take two internal USB ports if more current was needed - it's pretty common for motherboards to have an excess of internal USB 2.0 headers
