Good news, well done Blizz for keeping their older classics up to date WC3 still holds up very well today even before this patch, with a great story and excellent tried and tested RTS gameplay. The patch comes at a good time as I have to shamefully admit to never finishing the campaign for WC3 and i've always wanted to go back and finish it. Got a day free tomorrow so time to replay it from the start I think!

I own the game (both) but is there a way to download the patch without their stupid battlenet junk? I have no intention of internet play, just want the patch. It seems updating their classic games is just a way to get us on crapnet. I refuse as I do all games that require this type of junk GOG for the world (you can still download their games without galaxy junk if you choose).

WC3 is excellent, still play it regularly.

I do wonder if they will ever release a Warcraft 4 though.

While I like Warcraft it is the movie I like. Hopefully that sequel be out sooner than later. Just because America didn't like the film doesn't mean the rest of the world should go without a sequel. It still made loads of money. Also if I want anything Warcraft related I will go to the books and other game also. RTS or whatever just isn't for me. Nice to see Blizzard here though helping out the people who still love this game.
