    AMD stock climbs 11 per cent as it beats Q1 estimates

    Its Computing and Graphics Business Segment revenue was up 95pc at $1.12bn.

    I would imagine earnings would be impacted by the downturn but Ryzen and other parts might offsdet it a tad
    Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!

    I'll never understand the stock markets, it seems obvious to me that AMD stock is undervalued, i wonder if that makes me a bankrupt idiot or rich genius.

    UPDATE:

    In the Q1 2018 earnings call it was confirmed that AMD has a 7nm Radeon Instinct product for machine learning running in its labs.

    The worst thing is that Raven Ridge has only just started entering the market and most Ryzen CPUs sold during the Q1 period were probably the CPUs with no IGPs.

    It makes me wonder what happens once AMD can start getting more traction for their APUs over the next 12 months or so!

    But we've been here before and they struggled to make a huge dent in the Intel juggernaut. I must admit though Intel seem to have almost forgotten the pc market
