    First 4K G-Sync HDR monitors are due within a fortnight

    Acer and Asus will be the first to market, says source, but we still don't have pricing indicators.

    4K/120. you'd need dual 1080 Ti's for that I'm guessing

    And either an incredibly well-optimised game, or one that isn't pushing any sort of boundaries. Though considering these monitors will be in the region of $800 (possibly more), they seem more like halo products than something for the mass market.

    although with g-sync it should still look fine with lower frame rates or you could run at a lower res.

    i.e you wouldn't need to max such a monitor out to gain benefit.

    Whether it's still a good buy depends on price

    Pay for the monitor and pay for the new nvidia card to come up and new bf5 adding in total £3000 easy spend for some. Just wait until prices are dropped. Still the GTX670 rocks.

    If you stop at 1:19 maybe for the wrong reasons I prefer the left monitor. The shine on the tyre & door panel looks overly bright on the 4K.
