Considering how Android updates majorly slowed down when Lenovo took over Motorola, I wouldn't really be inclined to expect updates for a Lenovo phone to be any quicker.

Indeed... but if it has a funky pop up selfie cam imagine how easy that could break

I'm unlikely to break a selfie camera, given how little use it would get. Frankly, I'd be happy with a phone with no front camera and the screen space instead.

What I most care about with a design like this is making the phone physically smaller. A 5 inch "no bezel" screen could be around the size of the Samsung Galaxy S2 which is really the upper end of a phone size I'm happy with.

Can't see that happening to be fair - even low end models are bigger than that screen size these days

I wouldn't trust a pop-up camera in the dusty pocket environment

Indeed. I can't either, but that doesn't mean I have to buy what they do offer. My Sony Z5 compact will rumble on a while longer...

Re: Lenovo Z5 all-screen phone in officially teased

First phone I like the look of in a long long while. Mainly because its bezel free and has no stupid notch! Refuse to buy a phone with a notch. OnePlus 6 was my plan, but not with a notch, just looks so stupid.
