"is available to purchase from Scan Computers."

How are we to believe any review when they're obviously sponsored? This machine is also available from Amazon.co.uk and a whole load of other places. I know you have to make cash but Scan's re-stocking fee just isn't right.

Really? You've been here 2 years and still think that? Take the review with a pinch of salt then and go buy one from Amazon then.

I'm actually positive that, even when sponsored, Hexus are subjective and review a machine for what it is. But when it's obviously sponsored it's a bit naughty.

Anyway... thanks for the advice. I might just do that.

Anyway my issue is with Scan and not Hexus.

He is just mad that he seemingly did or was going to be charged a restocking fee...which im sure, when I've checked and returned stuff in the past, it was quite clear one would be charged..

Re: Asus ROG Zephyrus M GM501

Sorry but you're not correct. I ordered from Scan, via Amazon, so wasn't hit with the fee. What I was hit with was the stupidly long wait for the refund despite providing Scan with proof, article links, references, to the issues with the DJI Mavic drone. Apparently there wasn't anything wrong with it. (Despite the 1080p mode looking terrible which was later fixed by a firmware update).

Basically you roll the dice if you return EVEN if there's an issue.

P.s. There was also another case, a looong time ago, where I put together two identical builds but one board didn't work. "Nothing wrong with it"... re-stocking fee.

    Hi there,

The review is not sponsored by Scan Computers. Scan has nothing to do with this review other than as a partner link for where to buy. The machine was supplied by Asus UK, all correspondence during the review was with Asus UK.

Hope you get any problems with Scan sorted out, though.

Re: Asus ROG Zephyrus M GM501

Just came visiting after reading the new Razer Blade review, and noticed the game fps test results on the GM501 were all slight/somewhat behind than the Razer, despite the GM501 having a substantially higher Time Spy result.

    Any idea why?
