Lack of SATA ports isn't so bad if the M.2 implementation is good enough
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
The biggest advantage of the B450 will be the Ryzen 2000 series CPUs and APUs should work out of the box with them!!
STILL only PCIe2.0 on the chipset? AMD, I am disappoint.

B450 (and B350/A320, in fact) has a single x1 PCIe 3.0 which can be used a GP lane, as Sata Express, or as 2x SATA 3.0. X370/X470 have two such lanes.
Outside of GPUs and NVMe drives, how many peripherals actually need the additional bandwidth of PCIe 3? besides, the entire chipset is linked to the CPU via a PCIe 3 x4 link, so there's a hard limit to the total bandwidth available to peripherals anyway...
