The 8GB/128GB version is really tempting as a personal go about laptop!
Will have to see some reviews but the value proposition of what you get in that at the 500 pound price point is phenomenal.
UK prices come direct from Microsoft UK website. (except for the 4GB/128GB middle-diddle which is CostCo US only for now)
I'm sure you could upgrade to pro quite easily!
128GB -8GB RAM is pre order price £509 in the UK.
Add a type cover and Surface Pen at £99.99 each and your looking at £708.98. Get a lot of laptop for that.
The bezel as well is rather large for this day and age.
It's absurd that the pen is £99.99.
That's double what it used to cost two years back.
However, I don't think it's fair to compare the with pen price against a laptop, as this is really an ultraportable for £610 for surface and cover. There isn't much that matches it.

While I agree the price for the MS pen is too high, you shouldn't need to use the microsoft pen as I believe it uses the same 'standardised' format that is on the surface pro meaning you can use a wacom(such as wacom bamboo ink) for example which is cheaper at around £70 (still a bit high imo but this should work on most stylus supporting displays).
I think that price is without the keyboard lol. Type cover is normally extra.
(sorry, double posting)
