Not a fan of the new tab bar.
But at least the search bar or omnibox or whatever they call it seems more responsive.
I like it.
Just wish we had the 'notch' for the desktop version (lel)
same here I am also not a fan of new tab bar.
I have not yet tried it, because I use 64bit SRWARE IRON, so, i'll wait for SRWARE to push out their version 69. I hope its faster, because Edge on all devices is so much faster than version 67 or 68 of chrome.
So, 10 years old, eh?
I didn't realise I'd been avoiding it that long.
10 years ...and they still haven't figured out how to select the previous URL when you type in the address bar.
E.g. if you have set the browser to open the page "about:blank" on start-up Chrome sets the focus to the address bar and will place the cursor in front of the the first 'a' which results in inserting rather than overwriting.
I'll stick with Firefox thanks.
Firefox. The recent mega nz extension compromised shows that it's just becoming a bigger vector of attack every day as it gets more popular.
I don't like the rounded edges, it genuinely looks ugly to me. Especially on my phone.
Has anyone else found that the 'recently visited popular sites' seems to have disappeared from when you open a new TAB, any idea how to get it back?
And breaks the Flash plugin permissions while doing it, introduces a yucky new look, removes all ability to roll back to fully functional version 68.
