Chrome 70 just got pushed onto my pc. I immediately went ahead to see where the "Allow Chrome sign-in" option is loctated. Unsurprisingly it's under the Advanced section which isn't shown by default. Who'd have thought...

Progressive web apps seem like a natural evolution. There are so many things that are web-delivered, but launching a browser around them seems clunky.

Almost a shame I don't use Chrome!

Excited about the progressive apps! Does anyone know what sites other than Spotify (and Twitter from what I know) offer this feature as for now?

Progressive Web Apps. Microsoft has provided them and people have been writing them for years, in the form of HyperText Applications. Almost all of my home-brewed utilities and personal apps are HTAs. With the introduction of Edge, Microsoft, in its infinite wisdom, decided to remove support for HTAs, leaving no path for developers who want to benefit from the full use of current and emerging standards.
