These missions are time limited - That adds a realistic edge to a mission but isn't great for those who buy the game later.

This isn't new. They regularly put in one off targets into the last hitman game. Usually around one a month. That game was episodic too, and they were all one off timed exclusives until the series ended at which point they were put into a regular rotation. I'm sure the same will happen this time.
