I've only ever used onboard graphics for troubleshooting but, as I don't tend to keep spare GPUs loitering around, the IGP has been essential. That said, I expect anyone buying this board to be enthusiastic enough to probably have a few PCs lying around and a choice of spare GPUs if required. I'm trying to live with a no clutter and no hoarding rule. Means I've had to throw away a lot of stuff but the Empire of Dirt can only expand so far. I doubt the lack of onboard graphics outputs is going to put anyone off at this level.

At that price, I'm amazed it doesn't have a PLX chip to provide additional PCIe lanes. It would mean a buyer could make much better use of all the built-in storage & other options.

Buildzoid did a breakdown of the board, in his opinion, its not only not worth what they're asking, but you'd get the same, or better, overclocking performance from a cheaper board.

If that's accurate, I reckon this was made for the "I've too much money" casual.
