That's going to suck.
That's why I bought an AMD card.
At least they have more consideration
for the customer then greedy nvidia.
Cease is the wrong word, it's moved to legacy drivers. I thought they already had tbh.
A quick look on Overclockers, the smallest amount of memory they do on an AMD video card is 2GB which as a chunk taken out of the 3.5GB memory map of a Windows XP box doesn't really leave you enough system ram to properly run Office. If you have a video card with under a GB of vram to make it usable with 32 bit Windows, then you don't need optimisation for the latest AAA games which is what the mainline drivers are for.
