I guess when it comes to building higher-end motherboards it's just a case of "why not?"...they have to add enough features to justify the price, right?

The Z390 Master is actually on my short-list for my next PC. I was looking as the Asus Z390 Hero XI, until I saw Buildzoid's breakdown of the VRM for that motherboard. Turns out it's basically a 4 Phase design...in a motherboard that costs around £300! Gigabyte have certainly upped their game after the criticism they received over their misleading advertising for their previous generation Z290 boards. The VRMs for most of their Z390 boards are all pretty solid by all counts.

    Re: Aorus Z390 Master

My flat has no potential to run cables everywhere, and although powerline networking is pretty good it still sometimes disconnects and I have issues - so I'd probably enjoy being able to connect via wifi sometimes...
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!

Looks alright... needs more RGB, though. Some nice SMDs around the back edges, perhaps...
