nvidia has a product that can raytrace at 1080p30. Which is a good start. Though the cards should be WAY cheaper if they want mass market adoption.
Shouldn't AMD also show that their technology can also raytrace? If it's the future of gaming graphics implementation then showing something might have been nice. It doesn't have to be ready for public consumption, but showing they have something, and that something might even be better than what Nvidia have would've been ace.

? I was under impression that it was much worse than that (or using a hybrid solution on what parts to do with RT)..
And considering penalties - it seems such a high-niche functionality while using large part of the silicon - i certainly would not feel like loosing anything if AMD did not focus on it..
