    LG will offer foldable functionality via attachable screen

    The idea sounds akin to the Microsoft flipcase prototype that emerged last October.

    LG will have been able to design something less obviously clunky, and perhaps in full colour.
    What on earth happened to Mirasol displays? e.g. https://hexus.net/tech/news/monitors...phone-display/

    EDIT: a quick google tells me that it was bought by Qualcomm, they tried to diversify it, failed to make any money, and canned the whole thing back in 2013 (although it sounds like they might still be opening to licensing deals).

    I am so glad I missed that article back in 2013. That has saved me 6 years of waiting for a gps to be released using the tech. I will start waiting now
