Re: AMD Radeon Navi GPUs spied within MacOS Mojave code

Power-efficient 7nm Navi GPUs are considered to be the successors to the Polaris line, so it isn't expected that any of these Navi GPUs will be encroaching into top-end Vega GPU territory such as the recently revealed AMD Radeon VII.
Yeah, but 16 CUs? I think people were hoping it would encroach on the 36CU RX580 at least. It would be a nice upgrade from the 11CUs of a 2400g however, so is this really an APU we are looking at here?

Kinda reminds me my 3200€ Macbook Pro has a Radeon 560x inside... but hey, at least its not DDR3 anymore , so I got that going for me....

Could be - that's the kind of numbers I'd hope to see in the next Gen APU (given previous iterations moved from 6 - 8 - 11, 16 probably isn't too big a stretch). Alternatively it could just be a 7nm mid-range dGPU - if it's for an ultra-thin MacBook it might be all the cooling can handle...
