    Had a funny thought.

Soon there won't be games or graphical engineers, just deep learning neural networks that magic a game up for us...

I gave it a whirl at 1440p with a 2060 and it really does help quite a bit, was hitting steady 60+ frame rates were before it was only sometimes that.

Anthem is still a boring grind though.

It's a complete mess currently, each patch seems to make it worse in terms of loot. For a "looter shooter" it seems BioWare simply don't have what it takes.

Re: Nvidia DLSS and Nvidia Highlights come to Anthem

So far my impressions of DLSS has gone through the following stages:

    1) This sounds great, can't wait to see this in action.
    2) What's taking them so long? Surely it can't be that hard.
    3) What on Earth? Who smeared Vaseline on my screen? Is this what I've spent £2000 on?!
    4) 40% improvement? Yeah, right!
    5) Well, that's definitely an improvement but it shouldn't take a month.
    6) Hmm.... Well... On the third game you'd expect it to be better.
    7) Wow, this is really starting to work.

It looks and works great in Anthem and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Battlefield V and Metro don't get quite the same performance boost but they've each improved their quality and now allow the use of RTX without anywhere near the same performance hit.
