Why would anyone want this over the Aquacomputer Splitty 9 which is smaller, better and has more inputs

The case design is a bit like the NZXT grid, which is a bad thing - the fan connectors get very easily stuck in there without being able to jimmy them with the full range of motion/cursing.

Maybe because it's an active hub, not a simple splitter and doesn't try and pull 5 amps from your motherboard header. Oh, and the remote control (and enclosed case and support for mixed 3pin and 4pin fans...)

If you need to run more than 1 hub an Aquero is the obvious choice. I run mine with 2 Splitty 9's and have 0 issues going from idle to 2300rpm on my 21 fans.
