It should be just shy of that, after conversion efficiency it'll only need 12 A or so so will be fine on UK plugs

I look forward to the future 3-phase RGB PSUs for EXTREME OCERs

Anandtech says this model will not be for sale. And tbh, do we really need PSUs at 1KW and beyond?

As power supplies have a fan and tend to collect dust, they probably fall foul of the EU vacuum cleaner power limit legislation anyway

Yes we need, i have a 1.2 kW power supply, my build when i do my matlab processing consumes short of 1kW (970-990W) so i should have gone for a 1.6kW this way the psu would be more relaxed, i push mine too hard.

Well, at least their signature glaring white LED sockets are now RGB and can be blended in with the rest of your build...
That was the only problem I ever had with Superflower, really.

We all know that power usage goes up exponentially when overclocking. I wonder how much slower your system would perform at stock speed. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a lot less than one might think. Just an educated guess...

I honestly doubt the older wiring in my house would cope well.... I really should get it rewired.

In what i do it is up to 30% slower, my cpu has a base frequency of 3.0 ghz on all cores so it is a 50% increase in frequency to 4.4 ghz on all cores.

Useful for system builders who want to integrate a kettle or microwave oven into their systems.
