Sounds great, though it's a bit worrying that they didn't say anything about the screen. What good is a durable outdoor-laptop if you can't use it when the sun's out?

I expect it'll not be amazing as if it gets too hot in a desert, it'll not last so long. Desert applications tend to be a little bullet ridden at the moment and these thing definitely continue to work with a 7.62mm hole in the screen. Which is awesome.

I really do like this idea. I wonder how good the IP protection really is with modules being exchanged or if they have to be put in at purchase and left if the IP is to be retained? Or did I not read it properly and missed that part?

EDIT: They mentioned there's a full HD screen with an optional 1000nit upgrade. That'll be for the deserts. Lots of desert work for these laptops at the moment. And with the Taliban majorly upsetting Trump who was negotiating in good faith, lots more demand coming right up.(seemingly)
