It was spotted on reddit pcgaming first, that guy Daniel Ahmad is just a leech. Never mind the claims he is part of a pedo ring on discord/resetera.

Everyone should play Control; it's really good.
I would, however it's an exclusive on a store I'm not prepared to support. I wonder how many people would have paid full price for this on PC if it were widely available on all the digital stores? More than the exclusivity deal was worth I would imagine.

The morons and losers who hate on the epic games store paint a really bad picture of consumers. We're not all like this!

I wouldn't put it like this but the amount of support for the current monopoly is rather worrying.

That's what people said when consumers argued against the monopoly of Steam, of Microsoft and all the others.
We're not all like that, hence people like Epic trying to break the monopoly by putting their own oar in.

I don't mind it, but I'm not paying that kind of money for a short game like Control, especially when games like Rebel Galaxy can do better for much cheaper even under Epic's evil empire.

Fairly sure you need to be careful saying things like this as I imagine it could land Hexus in trouble...

Re: Control PC exclusivity deal cost Epic Games $10.45 million

The answer to a de facto monopoly by Steam is not to design a new monopoly by Epic.
I get that other companies want me to download and use their platforms, but this isn't the way to win me over. EA have already taken a long walk off a short pier as far as I'm concerned, Epic now following suit. Maybe try a different tactic?
