If they're a substantial increase over my 2080 RTX then I might upgrade. Benchmarks will tell.

p.s. can it play crisis?

I skipped the 2080Ti because their price increased sickened me, hanging all my hopes on Intel coming out with something good (foolish, I know. But a man can dream). I know the 3080Ti is gonna be silly money too, but if I want to keep gaming at 4K, it might be the only game in town.

    Jesus that's depressing.

While it'll be cool to see what the 3080/3080Ti do in terms of performance, I'll be more interested in the mid-range derivatives, and be hoping for 2060 performance for the price of the 1660. It will also be interesting to see if they put ray tracing features in cards lower down the product stack.

Maybe, but 3080 is a 48% higher number than 2080 so given it's Nvidia I expect the prices to rise accordingly which would support second hand prices

Ehhh they already plan to release 3080 and 3080 TI?
It is pretty expected because they want too keep those price points and then release Super versions, and then 3080 Ti Super Amazing Xs versions...
So in the years to come expect unreasonably long graphic card names, because 3081 < 3080 Ti from marketing point of view.
Ehhhh, why that mad garbage above I wrote looks so possible and near?
