I'd love to see this with postivity... but all I can imagine is

"Boss... look... we've got Minesweeper running on 640x481..come see"
    "Why is it 481 high?"
    "You wanted something extra boss"

    Large doesn't mean good...

As much as it is all looking snazzy, I trust Raja about as much as I can throw him.

    From the article:

Perhaps most intriguing is that this "baap of all" - roughly translates as "father of all"....

Baap is either badly spelt pertaining to a burger bun or in slang terms a fart , think he means the latter. lol.

I think Raja is a bad choice for Intel, but I hope I am wrong.

Re: Raja Koduri teases that the Intel Xe HPC GPU is "the baap of all"

In Danish bap once was "slang" for suck, you could could say in translated/Danish mix "can i have a bap on your cigarette".
or a girl could bap on your,,,,,, you know ;-)
I think in Danish it go back to getting a pipe going, so you would make little consecutive sucks on the pipe to get the glow / smoke going, and that was bapping on the pipe.

It might come from here, many English words can be traced back to Danish / Norse language.
Danish dictionary say bap = mouthful of smoke from a pipe or cigarette.

Aren't nVidia planning on going to chiplets after Ampere?

Seems like a backwards step to spec out large monolithic dies these days.

They only said it was the largest designed in India. If Intel haven't designed any silicon in India before, then it could be quite small
