Has AMD fired back with a clock speed bump?
You can look back and see that the 'reference' Radeon RX 5600 XT was listed at game/boost of 1,375/1,560MHz at launch, at the beginning of CES 2020.
However if you head on over to the Sapphire Pulse RX 5600 XT 6G GDDR6 official product pages you will observe this card runs at "Game Clock: Up to 1,615MHz / Boost Clock: Up to 1,750MHz". Yes, that's quite an OC.
Comapre the above clocks to those in the Sapphire Pulse RX 5600 XT press release published on 7th January: "a Boost Clock [1] of up to 1620MHz and a Game Clock [2] of 1560MHz".
It looks like that new vbios bumps it up ten percent or so. Not sure what value the 5700 looks after that although it has a bigger bus I guess.
Grab that. Get that. Check it out. Bring that here. Grab anything useful. Take anything good.
