if Intel goes after low/medium performance GPU it could hit AMD hard.

The nuc with a skull on it only does PCIe 3? Maybe the 4 PCIe 4 lanes they managed to squeeze in are taken by the GPU?

Nvidia has the almost-useless laptop GPU market down, they've got a lot to lose from the intel products. It's probably a different performance level to APU graphics, so these products aren't competition to ryzen laptop GPUs - but improvements to intel APUs will be (but then, AMD has zen 2 or 3 to differentiate their products)
