Re: Command & Conquer Remaster reaches 'content alpha' milestone

O man i think i will have to pick this up just for the nostalgia
But for the love of me, in spite of many many hours spent playing C&C and RA i cant recall what NIC i used to play with.

I sort of lean towards Viking66 but i am far from sure

PS: The cooling tower with the 2 fans on the "CY" remind me of coolers on the Slot A cooler on my 700 MHZ CPU.

Just imagine how the Slot would look if they tried to stand a current GEN CPU on its side like that

Tempted with this one as well, remember many moons ago changing the game speed and then building loads of the NOD bikes, like swarms of ants...

"Chat with other players in the game lobby for agreeable setups"
Is this implying that there is no chat in game anymore?

Looking forward to it - I generally quite like remasters if done well.

They just need to be very, very careful with what they show & tell beforehand - personally I am really enjoying WC3 Reforged (generally viewing the negativity on reddit as childish over-reaction) but that whole event shows just how careful you need to be with remasters of classic major hits like this!

they'd better still allow offline LAN matches and not try and force everyone to be 100% online all the time. Still have a group of friends who meet and play RA2 from time to time.

Re: Command & Conquer Remaster reaches 'content alpha' milestone

I have not played either for a long time, after a few versions of RA i turned to supreme commander.

My friend got a bundle with the old C&C and RA games, but he said some of them would not run on his win 10 machine
