i guess this issue is that you might opt in, start to subscribe, then not be able to play the games you could the week before, even though you own them, and then need to opt out again and buy a new graphics card that WILL run the game.. then find they are back on the list a few weeks later when the streaming servicde signs the biggest income deal from nVidia or Strava or who ever else joins the race.

messy isn't it? and relatively no lube available

All these 'it's just £10 per month' packages soon add up
I can't blame Activision as cloud gaming is garbage and would only tarnish their products.
Sorry, I must have missed something... Why did AB pull out? Because they weren't making enough money from players streaming their games?
Or is this games installed to some cloud server and streamed to your device?
Either way, it sounds horrible....

Is that a real word? On-boarded?

Blizzard will have pulled out because they recon they can scam more money out of us, e.g. by only offering it on Stadia where you have to buy the game again to use there even if you already own 1 copy of it.
If you note I put the £10 within apostrophes, not to mention we all know from how netflix has gone about gradually increasing prices that the current price isn't going to stay that way when it becomes 'popular'.
I know you need to own the game first with this but at the same time it's still a subscription service to actually use it.....
I'm no lawyer but read the eula and you'll be surprised what most try to hide in there. Ultimately as it's primarily an online game blizzard can remove your ability to play at will due to banning you etc so.....
I don't even think you should need any account to play a game,,,,, period.
You should just need to buy the game,,,, period.
Oh yes, Microsoft, cloud gaming REALLY IS the future!
