Hopefully the real benefits of this will come at the end of the year, if the new consoles support VRR tech.
Still limited use to most PC gamers as you don't want one of these on your desk, and keyboard/mouse on a sofa is still horribly frustrating, but if the next gen consoles support it....could be a bit of a gamechanger. Won't care so much about fluctuating framerates then
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
yeah its really frustrating for PC users as 48" is basically too large for desk use (even a big desk) and the upcoming Asus and Acer options (32" 4k 144hz) are supposedly in the region of £3.5k when they release!
Can someone somewhere please address this gap in the market instead of the endless slew of ultra wides and basically "anything but the one thing 4k PC gaming needs".
damn I would give not one but both my testicles to have this as my main TV."an ideal second TV"
i'm looling forward to seeing Linus drop the box fumble with one.
The picture of the guy sitting 2ft away from a huge TV is wrong on so many levels.
Thats also the narrowest table i have ever seen, its like only 1/3 of my computer table at its most narrow place ( have a cutout on the front to "slide" into on the office chair )
And i sort of tried that using my 42" TV for a screen untill i was able to buy a monitor, i cant say it was annoying with the 1M i have to the screen, but it sure did take some getting used to.
Have you ever seen a smiley totally fill a 42" screen ? now there is something to lighten the mood
$1500..Hmm, I see they've price gouged the Gamer market by a good $200-$300 with the pricing, seeing as it's so full of idiots who will just throw money down the drain, in pursuit of extra e-peen.
A 48in TV should not be $1500.
High release price is just to milk the first wave of shopper that cannot keep their wallets in their pant for a few months.
48CX will drop in price to under 1000 Euro by end of year.
I bought my LG OLED 55C9 for 1150 Euro.
cliche question......BURN IN??
4k 120Hz VRR big screen !?
The only thing preventing me from buying it is all the smart crap in the TV.
Make it curved, 43-45", and remove smart TV crap - it would be PERFECT.
but having multiple screen setup is ok ?
I guess you never tired to work with monitor of this size with 4k resolution.
@Tarinder - any chance Hexus could get one of these in for review? The usually good TV reviewers don't ever go in to the gaming functions well.

Nooooo! Don't make it curved. Being curved suits little, if any, reason at all.
