Would love to see them re-do the orinal Far-Cry, but I guess when they split off to do their own thing, they lost the rights to that.

yeah I think ubisoft retain the name rights etc. Far Cry was an ubisoft-crytek game.

Totally, they should, for the love and support of all the people that have kept them fed by buying all of the previous games. I don't want the game for free, I want the game for a price that's less than what 'I' paid for the original (all those years back). Or, they could make a new game and THEN charge whatever they like.

But you've got the previous games. Now you want them to work 'for love'? That doesn't put food on the table.

In much the same way I quite fancied playing the VR version of The Talos Principle, but not at £30 when I have the original. I would happily drop a fiver on it, a tenner if I'm in a good mood. But it seems to be a stand alone game, not a cheapish DLC pack.

Absolutely agree and that's as it should be. I just take issue with an expectation of getting developer time for free or accusations of greed when you can just make the call to value a game at it's actual cost and decide whether you play it or not.
