Where's the 10 pin PEG power connector then? Given that Ampere is coming shortly and the PSU isn't out yet!Supports the latest Nvidia graphics card
The FE edition has a 3x8 pin to 12-pin NV adapter. Notice that the psu has 3x8 pin on it

Am I the only one who doesn't see a difference except for the bounding boxes?
If the Earth is a sphere how do you travel to the ends of it?

I wonder if part of the shortage in PSU availability has been because of preparing for a switch to the new pin standards?
Well rumour is it's a 400 watt gpu (3090)
2x8-pin might not supply that amount if rated as per the specs reliably. So go figure. Yes it might end up being 2x8-pin as the seasonic adapter cable floating around seems to be that but it's all a bit up in the air right now. One rumour says it needs 500 watts to hit 2ghz boost but again all rumours and not confirmed. Again a slew of US youtubers saying their sources all say runs very hot, is very power hungry and Samsung is having issues with it's yields...
The 3080 even rumoured to need 400 watts to run well and 3070 is 300 watts for decent performance. If so that's a mahoosive amount of power in this day and age. Same rumours say that big navi is much better at power useage but probably won't perform as well but also around 25% cheaper

I can easily read 650w, 750, 850 on the units, not sure what colored boxes you're talking about I don't see any on the page here (but I could be blocking them...ROFL). Must be looking at all the product pages. Same story there though, they always look the same, just separated by wattages pretty much. Boxes between product lines from the same company might differ a little, but other than that...
Watt rumors are just that for NV cards. I can't believe watts are that high moving to 7nm at rumored ~450mm^2 dies. But if so, I guess they are really pushing tech to the limits here. 9/10 times though, they are the massive watt winners. So if they are hitting 400-500w they must have pushed the cards to the brink, which doesn't make much sense vs. AMD lacking unless they thought they needed it to finally claim 4k crap or maybe Intel defense strategy. Who knows, they just are usually watt conservative IMHO based on history repeatedly. When was the last time NV was the hot card or watt waster (noise too)? It's been quite some time since they lost either way.
