they should just sell the bracket by itself. That is the only appealing part of this thing, and far better than several competitors' offerings.

I'd much rather have the TUF going by the reviews. To get this thing quiet you'd have to drop the fan speed which would increase the temp and performance would likely suffer given comments in the OC section. It seems to me to be a bit of a dud this one.

Hoping for a 0db at idle card as those noise readings do leave something to be desired. Seems it might run a bit too hot to make that a reality though.

I know a few of the other cards are supposed to have no fan until 50C so it is definitely a feature that is out there. How long it sits below 50C is the question. My current GPU seldom hits 50C even when playing the games I tend to run so that seems hot for me, but then I'm years out of date.

I haven't seen any decent predictions on when 10GB will cease to be enough. Right now 10GB is more than plenty, are there games where 6GB cards are hitting a wall? I know we passed 3GB some time back, and 4GB seems iffy. I'm guessing games will be tuned for 8GB for some years to come, giving 10GB cards a bit of elbow room over that.

But more GB has always sold cards, even when to get that extra ram on there they have to make the ram run slower making it a measurably worse card.

Oh, and a nice wide PCIe4 interface should make running out of vram less of an issue. We saw that on the low end AMD 5500 cards.

gaming pro cards are pants, when you don't game, they should hurry up with the jetstream's, they are always the top dog for overclocking, the gaming series are like cheap and dirty cards to have something on the market as soon as they can

Doesn't FS2020 use 12gb+ of vram? Not representative of most games but annoying when it's the only game you wanna run >

The guru3d review showed much better acoustics - tying with the Tuf OC. The noise measured here doesn't seem to match other reviews from what I can see. I think a lot of this has to do w/ silicon lottery. It seems like unless you buy a binned card (Rog Strix, FTW3 Ultra), it's basically lottery your card's thermals / noise. So I'd say take these reviews with a grain of salt. All these cards benefit from undervolting due to extreme stock voltage/power, and will pretty much unanimously be quiet/cool if you do that. The GamingPro looks pretty good in my opinion, on par with the other entry level AIBs from MSI/Gigabyte and will still perform better than FE in terms of thermals/temp.
