@Hexus re the noise:temps comment (letting it run 10C hotter for less noise): doesn't the gigabyte software allow you to set your own fan profile? I thuoght this was something you could adjust. If so can you try and add this to the test data?

So, TLDR pointless for almost everyone then. Yet it will sell out in all probability.

Meh FS2020 and the like could use it.

If people do any 3D work having that memory is useful.

    Is this overpriced? Yes.

Re: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3090 Gaming OC

So now we know why nvidia didnt include SLI connectors on the 3080. Cause you would have been able to buy 2 of them for the same price as the 3090 and it would have whipped it's butt in supported games.

Re: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3090 Gaming OC

@Hexus the on-off high-res image links are not all working. Eg for the ray tracing On gives you an image, off sends you to the bar chart.

Yea I honestly believe they wanted to ditch the Titan nomenclature to get more purchases from people who didn't know any better. But this is NOT a gaming graphics card.

Re: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3090 Gaming OC

I didn't expect it to be this bad. What's worse is Nvidia have a Titan waiting in the wings when they know what AMD have.

It seems more and more likely all the rumours are true, the more things unfold.

Re: Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3090 Gaming OC

Resoundingly disappointing. If I was in the market for a top-end new GPU (I'm not), I would be wanting to see a very much greater step up in performance from 3080, to justify spending so much extra money. Maybe further driver updates will unlock more zip.
