Asus, Inno3D, Palit list GeForce RTX 3060 Ti designs with EEC

It looks like plenty of variants are being prepared; hopefully there will be stocks to match.

Interestingly, Steve from GN was saying the AIBs are saying that to make MSRP from Nvidia that they would have to lose money to do so unless Nvidia drops their chip+ram pricing. Which is nuts!

Seen it a few places now that it is impossible to make MSRP from 30XX series cards so they are not trying to. Justified by a clockspeed bump or whatever to charge a premium

Seems to be about £400 these days so....

My 1060 6gb (arguably a 'ti' in all but name due to the slower 3gb version) was about £250...so I can see where they're coming from in terms of 'price per class' of card.

nvidia saw that amd is willing to keep the price high so are comfortable to charge ridiculous amounts for mid range cards... amd will too

WCCF reckon the 3060 will actually be $299 so a bit closer to the previous kind of pricing.

Re: Asus, Inno3D, Palit list GeForce RTX 3060 Ti designs with EEC

Does anyone think we will spot any of those rare species of cards like the RX6800's or RTX3070's before Xmas? Thinking of spending my cash on something else cos a new monitor and keyboard beckons it will be a dull Xmas with no pressy's............. An article on here said the RX6800 would be here in Sept?

So the 3060Ti will also be PCI Express 4.0, and will it be close to a 3070 where speed is concerned?

And 1060 was a bit over £200 (even that was overpriced compared to the 570/580)
