Is it also correct to assume that these revised designs have also quietly revisited the smoothing caps on the back of the PCB?

Quad slot my god. It would be funny to see if someone could hobble together a compact build with some of these huge GPUs

Last time I saw my bank Manager, he told me to take a seat. I told him I was more comfortable on my knee's!

Re: Gigabyte launches triple 8-pin Aorus RTX 3090 Master 24G

recommended system PSU has been upped to 850W.
What, for just the card? I can see a lot of people having issues with just an 850W when you start taking into account everything else.

Re: Gigabyte launches triple 8-pin Aorus RTX 3090 Master 24G

I doubt it, the recommendations are about 750w anyway and if you're running a 3090 and a master especially you're probably not going to cheap out on a psu, or be using a small one. Most 850w PSUs were selling out because even 3080 builders we're buying them to have a little headroom

Re: Gigabyte launches triple 8-pin Aorus RTX 3090 Master 24G

These were in stock today in Scan (the master and xtreme variant (at 1860mhz)).

Xtreme was circa £1900, the Master was <£1900.

It was the Rev 2.0 as well, specified triple 8 pin. So they are coming through! All out of stock now though, was in for a good 2 hours this afternoon as I re-checked a couple of times.
