Seeing as multiple sources including yourself have reported massive GDDR6 delays I can't see there being stock at all at launch
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
Ampere for every gamer? Ampere for every miner, more like!
If they were all available, this at $329 would be a terrible deal vs the Ti at $399.
As I understand it, the huge cut to memory bandwidth on this compared to every other Ampere card means it'll be significantly less profitable for mining. Not to say it'll be any more available, but it won't be the first choice for that market.
well it would end at the same price as the current price of a 3080 most likely, I just took note on the 3090s and noticed a 25% price increase if not more.
If they could do something to gaming GFX cards so miners could not use them, that would be fantastic.
Then they could make dedicated mining cards and sell those instead.
As it is now, and gamer also doing or supporting bitcoin in any way,,,,,, well your made your bed now go lie in it.
I am not a gamer, though only by the fact no one make games i like to play, but i am in no way supporting bitcoin.
I wonder how well this is going to perform, so far the focus with every other card out in the marketing and promo materials was more like 'this card outperforms the best card from last year'. As far as I can tell, this so far, has only been compared to 1660 and 2060 by NVIDIA.
