    TrendForce: SSD pricing may go up 3 to 8 per cent in Q2 2021

    This 'early uptrend' is partly due to the Samsung Austin power outage in February.

    The prediction is a "3~8%" rise immediately after a "5~10%" drop. Nothing to write home about. Even if the cost of controllers rose by 10% it would barely dent the retail cost of an SSD.
