I wish I could use these kinds of monitors without feeling nauseous

The bright side is it somewhat caps the maximum I'll ever spend on a gaming rig

The rear looks like Wheatley got squashed and mounted on his rail backwards.

Not only the curve that is an issue, it's the sheer depth of the monitor requiring quite a large amount of desk real estate.

"the sheer depth of the monitor requiring quite a large amount of desk real estate" that is probably a problem for many people, but i have a huge cooperate computer table not a puny Ikea desk.

I can probably house 2 of those without any of them sticking out over the side or back of the table,,,,,, and have room for my keyborad and stuff too.
My computer table is 2.5 M wide and 1.1 M deep, and it can get stand up tall too if i bothered connecting the power for the actuators and standing up while computing.

I'm jealous. I wish I had that space, I'd probably buy a nice executive desk.

My desk is made mostly of cardboard. I kid you not.

This table on a foto has at least 80 cm, it is a rare thing and costly too.

Not sure why such focus on that aspect ration. Even in higher-spec HDR, 4K would be better

I swapped for this table a 6 channel Denon amp i had beaten the snot out of in my car for 6 years.

Working at the factory ( powder painting the metal parts ) that made this table, when we went and delivered / installed new furniture at clients it was often lawyers and so on, and on the executive offices not the poor secretary or receptionist.

i will estimate the retail price for my model of table to be around 1500 - 2000 USD as it is after all one of the cheap models with a laminated MDF plate for a surface.

Mine is from Ikea. The inside is cardboard. Somehow, it bulges from the inside out and parts of the surface look like it has warts or some kind of rare cancer. There's a distinct possibility it does.

I had the choice between a G9 and a CRG49 and after looking at comparison shots from above decided that the curve on the G9 was way too aggressive and went for the CRG49 instead. I barely notice the curve, it's an excellent screen and doesn't take up as much space as I thought it would, though I use it on a corner desk so it takes up the area I wouldn't have used anyway.

Let's hope they get QC correct this time. Initial release had to be recalled due to the amount of user issues
