That The Outer Worlds 2 trailer is hilarious.
I haven't gotten around to Outer Worlds 1 yet...
Starfield looks good, with a sort of Mass Effecty vibe.
Not mentioned in the article, but I've seen a little about Scars Above, which might also be fun.

Starfield looks interesting - lots of mysterious clues in the trailer for fans to pour over.
Forza Horizon 5 will likely be a day one purchase for me - the last few have been so much fun. Does Hexus have any more info about the ray-tracing or other tech? Seems like there's some remark that RT isn't applied during gameplay, and only appears in the car gallery viewing mode. The lighting looks good though - some form of global illumination?
It seems like ray tracing is only supported in the Forzavista vehicle viewing mode for now.
Even though I am now on a Mac I can see me buying an Xbox just to play Forza Horizon 5.

None of those games seem to be anything this has been OG would be interested in, even if the Halo game do have a bit of Quake team arena over it ( i never played any quake game ) But at least it seem to have capture the flag.
All look stunning, but thats not why i play games, and TBH the hardware i have i could not run those high graphics settings if i wanted to.
Still looking for a nice simple run and gun game, without too much BS thrown on top of it.
Forza was a nice surprise and obviously will be a day 1 play, but I really hope they reintroduce more traditional racing elements, like cups and leagues. It's a fantastic game but I really struggle to get into it without at least some form of structure and goals
I'm not a racing person and something like Motorsport bores me, it's too sterile, I just love the idea of FH having structure. It's not even like they need to do it, just give us the opportunity to! The closest we get is the 3 race events, and just as you're getting into it, boom, it's over. The event building opportunities are enormous, you could build themed cups on custom races, share em, let friends and strangers take part, and it also ties into the theme of playground, as you don't even need to keep it strictly to racing.
I do think they will incorporate something, as while FH is an absolute monster of popularity (3 and 4 are the biggest xbox games, even currently, apparently), a common complaint is a lack of structural events. It doesn't necessarily go against their ethos, it just gives people something to sink their teeth into.
It is little or next to no interest to buy a console just for a game... also most games today especially the so called AAA titles... does not really offer anything anymore.
I'll second that - each FH iteration has brought so much entertainment value - standout game from an outstanding UK developer.
Great that FH4 finally sorted out the gremlins in the PC version of the game engine - runs super smooth on a half-decent PC rig.
Is it just me hoping there might one day be some "Better Call Saul" DLC for FH5 - could be some interesting missions in northern Mexico - running or intercepting trucks on behalf of the cartel and/or Madrigal Corporation. Anyone for mobility scooter races with Hector Salamanca?
