BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
So,at least £325?? Since AMD does not ship reference models to the UK,it means the streetprice is probably going to be higher. The RTX3060TI FE costs £369. Better rasterised performance and better RT performance too.
15% better performance would put the RX6600XT around 85% in that chart,or slightly better than an RX5700XT.
Also, where are the qHD figures?? There is less cache than the RX6700XT,so it might fall behind relative to that too.
AMD PREMIUM branding to the max. AMD didn't want to be know as the "budget brand" well certainly they are not anymore! That is the Nvidia FE.

More mediocre crumbs from the table.
Both AMD and Nvidia have participated in price fixing.
The best case scenario here is, they're using global and economic factors as a guise, to allow them to set an even higher rrp. Hopefully this increase is in anticipation of hurting Intel launch with "price cuts", while still making a killing.

Not sure they could go to 12GB over that 128bit connection unless they did some weird asymmetric setup like we've occasionally seen from Nvidia. They'd have to go to 16GB instead if double density chips were available, but that would add too much to the price at the moment.
The numbers look small for this card, so if it performs where it's targeted then it's actually pretty punchy and should be relatively cheap/well yielding for AMD. I would expect price to drop a lot when supply gets sorted.
I guess they have to charge so much because they (Red, Green, and Blue) are simply not making any profit....
Oh my days, i almost made it through that with a straight face.

Looks like AMD have priced it to make a premium from the lack of GPUs available. I won't be biting. I gave up waiting and got a series X in the end. My rx480 can't manage qHD anymore but its fine for the odd game.
A lesson learned from PeterB about dignity in adversity, so Peter, In Memorium, "Onwards and Upwards".
At the end AMD is not your buddy but a business. 6600 will be a hard sell considering 3060 has an array of extra features.
379 for a 1080p card as 128bit will limit 1440p performance ,no real upgrade for low end hard pass.
I really am concerned about how much the RX6600 will cost now. It would be a perfect upgrade for the GTX960 in my mini-ITX Linux rig,due to the better AMD opensource support. At this rate it might be years before I am back on AMD!
I want it. But, and so it is very expensive for me.
$379 AMD GPU card using a 128 bit connection. UM WHY? Plus i not going to buy a $379 GPU card that only used 128 bit connection. Sound like they cutting the capability of their card in HALF.
Too bad AMD you just lost another customer.
At $379.00 USA dollars and they only using a 128 bit connection. RIP OFF.
