Henry ford hated banks. After years of lowering prices of the model T, he needed cash for a new factory for a new model, so he increased prices to pay for it.
DDr5 is looking like it could potentially lead to itx boards with a pretty high memory caacity in just two sockets (64GB? 128GB?). That and the potential speed increases pci-e 5 ssds could at some point offer is quite impressive.
