So basically its around the same performance as a Ryzen 7 3700X/3800X but with a decent IGP?? However,at the current price,it probably better to get a Ryzen 7 5800X,or a Ryzen 7 3700X if you need 8 cores(seen the latter for as low as £200ish on HUKD).
OTH,it probably makes more sense in an HTPC or a prebuilt desktop.
Edit!!
It seems the IGP is around an RX550 level or a bit better:

I was just going to say I think I'd rather a 3700X + £100 towards a GPU, assuming we're not looking at a dGPU-less build in which case it seems 'reasonable'
Well this is exactly what I was hoping would come out when I went down the x570 iTX route with my home server, currently on a 3400G so knowing when I want to add more cores I can do so that's me sorted, the iGP isn't overly important as it gets no use other than letting me run no actual GPU which means less heat and stuff blocking airflow..
Intel i9-11900k - 332watts. LOL
'towards' a GPU
And the rx550 can be had for around that amount which gives you options (and resale value) Its all a balance of requirements obviously and the CPU performance seems pretty good.
That £100 difference is street price of an old CPU vs introductory price of the new APU?
Even the 5800X is now on Amazon at a discount, so I expect either these things will be impossible to get (like the 3400G) or the price difference will be lower than that. If you compare RRP of 3700X to 5700G in that first table, there's only $30 in it which for me pretty much kills buying a 3700X (and I say that as a happy user typing this on a 3700X )
True, but this is the price right here and now....if you can get hold of one that is!
There has been tons of Amazon Italy/Germany deals for the Ryzen 7 3700X for around £200,plus refurbished/opened box ones for around the same. Mine was around £210ish damaged box back in December!
The Ryzen 7 5700G also only comes with the Wraith Stealth too - the Wraith Prism actually sells for an OK amount on Ebay still:

It can go for upto £35. Quite easy to get around £25 for it apparently. Don't know why though!
Another issue is that you ideally want decently fast RAM with a Ryzen 7 5700G,which is another cost. Plus I remember you don't like running things past the stock supported RAM too!
Also, the GT1030. These have been easy to get hold off too for under £90. It's the one GPU which seemed to rarely be out of stock for long!
Gamersnexus tested the Ryzen 7 5700G against a GT1030 GDDR5:

ATM,places such as Chipwiki says Cezanne does not support ECC RAM. But also realise the APUs don't support PCI-E 4.0 too,so they have cut back on a few areas. Not surprising as these were primarily made for laptops first anyway.
The Ryzen 5 5600G looks a bit more interesting as technically it is around £225 at RRP.
Looking at the reviews I posted in the reviews thread, gaming performance seems quite severely impacted by the L3 cache reduction. Only thing I can only see Nvidia GPUs tested. Has anyone seen a review with an AMD GPU,to see if the same applies??
