With both AMD and NVidia upping their game, I want to see what Microsoft does with the next Surface Book...
I think if AMD and Nvidia actually worked together we would have a better game for everything, they can't really spit out more GPU's anyway.
It's great to see AMD now has some decent laptop dGPUs out now.
That GPU wattage makes a hell of a difference so should be a big factor when doing comparisons, even like for like.
I recently bought a new laptop and was really keen on an Asus Zepherus until I found out it ran the 3070 at sub 100w. I ended up with a Lenovo Legion 5 which puts the 3070 out around 130w which makes a substantial difference in fps if gaming is a need. The trade off is a huge power brick but not a problem for my needs/usage

But how many cores that mobile 3070 has? Isn't it something like desktop 3060? Or even less?
The more you live, less you die. More you play, more you die. Isn't it great.
What ram did the systems have? Lots of videos saying that the AMD systems have pants single rank ram.

There have been a lot of rubbish single channel AMD laptops made. But in this case, I can't imagine hitting 300fps in single channel, that laptop has to be properly configured.
My son's HP Ryzen laptop is dual channel ram, socketed so you can upgrade it. They aren't all bad.
It's not only single ranked RAM but routing the dGPU through the IGP which losses performance.
