I guess it's an easy way to get a nostalgia kick legally, assuming everything is fully licensed. But I'd sooner get a Raspberry Pi 400, which is almost a spiritual successor to an Amiga, and stick UAE on it. I'm also assuming the 'perfect emulation' basically means it runs on UAE, too.
I hope the mouse is not a ball one, for that truly authentic feel. That mouse was horrendous.
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
If it really is 'plug & play' with a simple menu controlling which Amiga Chipset / KickStart Version / screen resolution / refresh rate, then this option does have a strong appeal to me.

It makes a nice nostalgia gift for those who don't dabble with emulators, I do like the box design very much like the original.
It's a pity real Amiga OS choice is total disaster, the last official v4 is still trapped on PowerPC hardware as is MorphOS alternative, the only true open source effort is Apollo for 68k accelerators on real Amiga hardware.
You'd think the clowns who own AOS4 and MorphOS would make Arm versions so products like this could actually ship with an Amiga desktop OS but no.
I would like to see a fake desktop mode skinned to look like an Amiga, with linux software it could actually be useful.
Just needs SWOS 95/96
I think part of the problem is that the Amiga proprieties are scattered amongst many different companies, and none of them seem to want to agree on anything.
A port of Amiga OS4 to Arm would be great start. Never used it myself, but I imagine the next step would be to give it a decent update to modern standards. Of course, either Hyperion have to decide whether it's worth it, or just open source the thing, and let the community work on it. I don't see the point of them hanging on to the source copyright, doing nothing with it. There must be so much legacy code in there as well.
