What chips do these contain?? Thaiphoon Burner should be able to usually say what they have.
Been using Kingston RAM for 20 years, never had a single issue with them... I think it is odd that they put lack of RGB as a bad thing for this.
I prefer without, as it is not like I am going to watch into the side of my system while it is running... and no one goes to LAN parties anyway?
Give me a good reason for RGB anything anyone?!? it is not like am going to have the towe on the table... it is gonna block all the monitors... and uh... a chance of it falling down on the floor as well...

Fortunately you dont have to use the RGB light, and its presence do not seem to hamper the RAM in doing its work, so you are left with some opaque plastic which if you are hard core / very anal about some things, well you will remove that, maybe change to custom heat sinks on the RAM.
I see the presence of RGB as a challenge nothing more, and i dont plan to use it in my next build which do not have a window.
I use to be very anal with things, like making custom cables that fit to the mm, but i will not bother with things like that nowadays as most modding today are off the shelf modding and not true modding.
Like you will see many a big youtuber build their new mod,,,,,, but it is just a off the shelf case with off the shelf cooling in it, but maybe dont right, but to me thats still not much of a mod, just a nice computer.

There wasn't. I was still terrible.
We had an argument/discussion on here a few years ago about RGB,as I don't like the form over functionality we keep seeing and the price-padding. However,apparently it seems to sell with the cool kids,so a good thing electrical tape exists!
Shopping for ddr4 RAM for my current threadripper system, at least when i wanted it to be PC3600, then RGB RAM was cheaper than none RGB, though as i recall there was not many none RGB to choose from, at least not in faster than needed RAM modules.
There was also very little savings to be made looking for just fast enough RAM, so i chose faster in the case i wanted to do a little OC, and i do also normally run my threadripper at 4 GHZ on all cores.
I gave CS a chance for a month or so, then the disk took the place of a clay pigeon and was exploded into many pieces,,,,,, i came from run and gun games with instant re spawn playing CTF or TDM, and weapons spawning in map, so sitting with my pecker in the hand waiting for the others to finish that soon got extremely frustrating, and not to mention the whole economy / buying stuff aspect which i to this day fine silly in any game.
I felt really good when the CS disk exploded into a million pieces like a glittering cloud from the meeting with a 12 gauge bird shot.
I still cant play a game where you have to buy stuff or choose a character with X abilities,,,,, hell to this day pressing a button to run frustrate me, better to have a always run item in the settings to check.

I may even have a 3.5" floppy drive somewhere.. and some old WD Raptor HDD's
My first half pro soundcard I still got as well... it is quite a bit longer and probably wider than most top end GFX cards today... uh AWE32 in an old 16bit ISA Bus...
I guess I at some part probably got a problem throwing away stuff, but uh... dun dizz the old stuff to much.... I had Turbo buttons on my 2 first PC's haha

Lasted decades. It makes me wonder how much of the modern stuff will still work in only 30 years time?!
Ryzen Infinity Fabric tops out at 3733....err what??? Most Zen2 can go to 3800 and lots of zen3 are hitting 4000 or above.
Also, what about info about what ram modules are used here?? Looks like maybe Hynix CJR but in this day and age any decent ram review should include this info.
While Kingston doesn't do it, and I haven't seen it on memory at all since the DDR3 Ballistix Tracer sticks, one feature those had was the Activity-reactive lighting, where the speed or brightness of the display profile on the memory directly related to actual memory usage, so if you were just booting up or copying large files you'd see a notable uptick in activity, it functioned as a passive system monitor if your system was in screensaver mode.
I'd like to see that kind of a feature make a comeback, because then it's not just decorative, it has an actual function.
Month on from this review and the product is still not (and hasn’t been) in stock at Kingston’s own linked store. Nor can you buy it from any well known UK retailers that I’ve checked.
Don’t really understand the purpose of these reviews of products with no availability.
Would I be correct in thinking this RAM is also under a lifetime warranty from Kingston. I am aware their older DDR3 Fury versions are so assume these would be as well?
If so, that's always a nice bonus to have.
