Zen4 EPYC (Genoa) is meant to going 12-channels so with only DIMM socket per channel this could go up to 6TB at $you-do-not-want-to-know.
Sounds interesting on the consumer end, in the future to follow, also if should focus on a massive PC build now...next year in 2 years time.
128 gb of ram in a laptop, that would be perfect for huge z-brush 3d files.
I wonder if we'll see some boards coming with only 2 ram sockets with the bigger stick capacity making it less of a concern in terms of capacity.
DDR5 looks like it could be interesting.
